Summer Session 2010 sign-ups now open!

The Music Factor has opened sign-ups for our popular Summer Session, held at Stacey Middle School from July 5th - July 23rd.  As always, the event will last 3 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 12pm.

We are opening sign-ups earlier than ever, and offering several "early bird" specials.  The pricing breakdown is as follows:

From now - March 15th: $310.00
March 16th - June 23rd: $340.00
June 24th - July 4th: $360.00
July 5th (opening day): $375.00  

Please take this opportunity to sign-up early, especially if you wish to register for guitar or drum-set, as these generally fill up very fast.  To ensure quality for all students, both guitar and drum classes will be closed once full.  Click here to sign-up.

12/08/09 - Blue Note Artist/Pianist Jason Moran

Jason Moran (jasonmoran.com) - has donated tickets for a group of our students to attend one of the greatest jazz concerts of the year, held at the Disney Concert Hall.  As part of the LA Philharmonic's Jazz "West Coast, Left Coast" series, our students will be seeing some of the greatest jazz musicians alive today.  With Mr. Schutza having studied with several of these musicians, there is also a good chance that our students might even get to meet the band!  Thanks Jason for this awesome opportunity!

12/01/09 - Summer Session 2010 Dates Announced

The Music Factor has announced the dates for the popular 3-week Summer Session in Orange County, California.  The dates for this event are July 5th - July 23rd.  Like always, the event will last for 3 weeks, Monday through Friday, for four hours a day.  Times, locations and sign-ups will become available as early as February 2010.  Mark your calendars now!

The Music Factor will also be announcing dates for the upcoming Spring Sessions (which will begin in March) at the beginning of next month.

The Music Factor performs at the Rose Center in Westminster, CA.

Three weeks never feels as fast as it does during our Summer Sessions, and this year was certainly no exception.  Over a hundred students on almost a dozen instruments, an onslaught of performances, a trip to Houston, and almost a month of struggle, growth and memories - to consider this session a success would be an understatement.  Thanks to all teachers and staff, as well as our awesome students, for the best Summer Session yet.
